Boston Globe - Sidekick

June 17, 2007

We might not sound like Brando, but we're still screaming for Stella's in Newburyport. This homey breakfast and lunch spot is worth it's weight in fritattas, homemade soups, hash (a big hit), chocolate-bread French toast (a special when we were there), oven-roasted pork tenderloin sandwiches, and warm pastrami (dare we say it--better than a New York deli). If you can't decide, don't worry--order the Breakfast Around the World sampler of eggs, Belgian waffle, French toast, sausage, hash, homefries, English muffin and OJ. Owner Jean Nicoletti Butler's motto is "tutto va bene" (it's all good), and you can taste all the goodness from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day.
